Kate Hall studied sculpture and printmaking at Leeds University, Bretton Hall campus-home of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

After finishing her degree she worked as a freelance writer and has published reviews in Untitled magazine as well as writing exhibition catalogues for a number of artists. She has continued to produce her own work over 20 years.

She lives in Penzance Cornwall with her husband and four sons.
